Here’s my message for you today: Work with what you’ve got.
Colossians 3:23 ESV says,“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
Similarly, Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, “Work hard at whatever you do.”
If you want to have an amazing 2018, you’ve got to work with what you’ve got.
They say there are 4 kinds of people in the world:
- Those who wait for things to happen
- Those who complain why things don’t happen
- Those who wonder what happened
- Those who make things happen.
Big Question: Can you be Number 4?
Can you make things happen?
The only way to do that is to work with what you’ve got.
One day, a guy came up to me and said, “Bo, I’ve been jobless for eight years now. It’s because I’ve been sick.”
I looked at him and he looked pretty healthy to me. I asked, “What are you sick of?”
He said, “I have an allergy. I’m allergic to work.”
Remember what I said last week: Some people reject fruits because they come in the form of seeds. People reject success because it comes in the form of struggle. And people reject wealth because it comes in the form of work.
Do you want miracles to happen in 2018?
Work with what you’ve got.
