I know of a woman—let’s call her Swiper (hint, hint)—who always asks me to pray for her finances. She’ll always tell me, “Bo, I want to be rich so that I can help a lot of people.”
About once a year, I bump into her and she tells me that once in a while, she listens to my financial videos—and she loves them.
But after telling me that, she’ll say, “Bo, please pray that I can pay my credit card debts.” I couldn’t understand what was happening.
One day, I met a very concerned friend of Swiper. She told me that Swiper cannot stop buying designer stuff in the mall—bags, clothes, shoes, watches… If she sees something really nice, no matter how expensive, she’d pull out her six credit cards, check which isn’t maxed out, and swipe.
Swiper will never get rich, no matter how much she listens to my videos. Because she doesn’t execute.
After 4 years of listening to me teach about investing small amounts every month in the Stock Market, she has yet to start—because she says she has no money to invest even if she’s earning a lot of money.
Education without execution will not work.
