SOW YOUR SEED

The Bible says, “Now Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. And the Lord blessed him, and the man became rich, and continued to grow richer until he became very wealthy . . .” (Genesis 26:12-13, NASB).

Do you want the Lord to give you the same blessing? Do what Isaac did.

It says, “Isaac sowed.”

Two powerful words.

And that’s how you create wealth.

It says, “Now Isaac sowed in the land . . .” Truth: God cannot bless you with a harvest if you don’t sow.

Are you sowing? The reason you’re not harvesting is because you’re not sowing.

It’s that simple.

Every wealthy person I know is wealthy because he sowed in his specialized skill. What’s your specialized skill? Perhaps you’re telling me now, “Bo, I don’t have a specialized skill, I have mediocretized skills.” Oh, that’s OK. Before a skill becomes magnificent, it first starts mediocre.

Because specialized skills don’t fall from the sky. It starts as a tiny seed that is planted and grows over time.

Once upon a time, I didn’t know how to speak. As a young speaker, I made everyone sleep. (I was a peace giver. No need for sleeping pills. Just attend my talks.) Today, I speak to thousands of people all over the world.

Once upon a time, I didn’t know how to write books. (Recently, I read my very first book ever published, and I wanted to be an ostrich and bury my head on the sand. Did I really write that horrible book?) Today, I’ve written over 60 bestselling books.

Once upon a time, I didn’t know how to cook. Guess what. I still don’t. Because I never tried to cook. I never planted the seed.

Nothing happens if you don’t plant a seed.

The world does not reward your need but your seed.

What’s your seed?

Do you know how to fix cars? Do you know how to draw? Do you know how to talk to people? Do you know how to negotiate? Do you know how to design? Do you know how to massage? Do you know how to dress up? Do you know how to inspire others?

Plant that tiny seed and make it grow.

Yes, even if some of them won’t grow.
