Do You Want Inner Peace?
Nope, It Doesn’t Just Come From Being Quiet, Spa Treatments, Meditation, and Breathing Exercises.
Let Me Tell You How You Can Have Inner Peace
No Matter How Busy You Are…
I have a crazy schedule.
But despite this, I do enjoy inner peace.
By the end of this article, I’ll share with you the secret to my inner peace, and how you too can enjoy it—no matter how busy you are.
But first, let me give you an idea of how insane my schedule is.
I’m writing this article in a train.
Crossing through Switzerland.
Yesterday, I was in Scotland.
The day before, England.
In the next four months, I’m flying to Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Macau, Israel, Jordan, US, and Canada.
Sometimes, I pinch myself.
This traveling stuff is what I see James Bond do in his movies.
But I’m no Secret Agent.
I’m a simple servant of God.
And unlike 007, I didn’t shoot anyone or stop a super villain from annihilating the world. All I did was care for people. I told them stories of God’s love. (Some call what I do preaching. I just call it “happy storytelling”.)
And here’s the secret of my inner peace….
My Secret To Inner Peace
Is Having “The Reason” For Everything I Do
James Bond has a license to kill.
I have a license to care.
Sorry for being corny, but that’s what I really do.
The stuff I do is as varied as the shoes of Imelda.
But they all come from one powerful source, which I call “The Reason”.
This is “The Reason” why I travel around the world.
This is “The Reason” why I got married and have kids.
This is “The Reason” why I write books and publish mags.
This is “The Reason” why I broadcast on TV and Radio.
This is “The Reason” why I start organizations.
This is “The Reason” why I serve the poorest of the poor.
This is “The Reason” why I run businesses and do investments.
What is The Reason? I care for people.
Caring for people is the reason for my daily life.
It’s the reason for every thing that I do.
Don’t Bow To Me Yet;
I Fail As Much As You Do!
Before you think of bowing to me, canonizing me a saint, and cutting my hair for holy relics, let me make one thing very clear: I don’t always think this way.
I get selfish.
I get grouchy.
I get lazy.
I get mean.
Oh man, God knows how much I fail.
And whenever I do something out of selfishness—I feel a disturbance within. Something isn’t right. Like a jigsaw puzzle with a missing piece. This disquiet, this un-peace, this chaos, pokes me within and tells me that I’ve lost my God-ordained path. That I’ve lost my destiny.
Believe me. Inner peace doesn’t come from being quiet, having spa treatments, meditations, and breathing exercises—as good as all these are. The peace we feel from these activities will all be short-lived.
Here’s where real inner peace comes from…
You Need Soul Alignment—
The Only Thing That Can Give You Inner Peace
Real Inner peace comes from what I call Soul Alignment.
That means your life—which consists of your actions, words, and thoughts—are aligned to the ultimate purpose of your soul. That ultimate purpose has been written by God in every fiber and DNA of your soul.
That ultimate purpose is to love.
Bottom-line, Soul Alignment means aligning yourself to God’s love.
No wonder Jesus said that the greatest commandment is this: Love one another as I have loved you.
And when you have Soul Alignment, you have inner peace.
May your dreams come true,
Bo Sanchez

I believe that inner piece is equivalent to the incessant walk towards holiness. Everyone of us is called to holiness because therein lies the carefully sewn promise of peace and love from our dear Father.
Like you Bo, I am writing this in between thoughts of how to organize the schedule of one of our family ministries. I am a missionary and I have been away from my family for a year. Praise God for the virtual world and I am able to keep-in-touch with them. At first, it was extremely difficult for me to get on without them but I always remember God’s message to me one day that He will take care of my household. That gives me peace and reason to continue no matter what. God loves me and that’s enough reason to dive deeper.
True to my humaness, I get cranky at times. But there is a reason for everything so I go back to the reason why I am here. My imperfection yields to more of my thirst for Him.
Praise God for you Bo!
Please continue praying for Ashpa.
Hi sir Bo,
Your blog is so timely, am in a state of confusion right now. I’ve been juggling my life between being a single mom to a 6 yrs old special child (incidentally its his bday today yet i still have to be in d ofc), work, and school, among other things. There are times my son would throw tantrum for coming home late particularly nw that its school time again that I would feel all kinds of guilt.
I’ve been trying my best to keep my sanity intact amidst this chaotic world am into.
Of course am doing this for my son’s future but there are really creepy times when i would pause and ask myseif am i really doing things right..am i really on the right track..and honestly at imes i can no longer think straight and answer back..
exhaustion perhaps..submission to uncontrollable situations..i dnt knw..how i wish i would have inner peace 24-7..
im sorry i didnt write this to express my knowledge or wisdom with respect to this article. Honestly, im quite confused right now and i dont have that precious thing you call “inner peace”. i dont know if i should be commenting on this article or in your other article about “dreams”. well you see, i am a dreamer. for one i want to be really really rich, but i also had this dream of helping those poor people around me. i long to be able to give those street children, a good home than just a stare. im not rich Bo, and thats what pains me. I really wanted to help them financially but my salary just wasnt enough for that. it wasnt even enough to help my sister financially. well she has two children and a partner who currently dont have any source of income whatsoever(he is a seaman). I really have a dream of establishing my own orphanage but i dont know how on earth am i suppose to do that with my salary. i cant even save coz my sister keeps on borrowing it. what with two kids and one jobless huband, she sure needs money more than i do. but all those needy person i meet in the streets and the knowledge that i wasnt able to do anything for them is what haunts me almost every night (except those few nights when im tired from work so much to even think of anything else and just doze off to sleep right away).
God had been so good to me Bo. He had saved me from numbers of troubles. And believe me, i have experienced simple miracles in life which strengthened my relationship with Him. But im not saying that im a good and practicing Catholic. Honestly, I dont go to Sunday masses very often. Why? because i honestly am quite confused with some of the catholic beliefs. But i do Believe in God, our creator, our Father. I believe in good and evil. I believe in making choices between those two. And as much as i can, I really do good deed because they make me feel great and make me feel like im doing the right thing. I talk with God in my own way. I believe in Him. I just need some enlightenment about Catholic religion.
Help me Bo. I dont know how to reach my dreams. And i need someone to explain to me some confusing things about Catholic religion and what others say about God.
I am so NOT in peace.
gud eve poh sir bo..
u know wat inner peace is not dat easy to attain, u hav to work at it everyday. its seems like even if u r trying to be at peace der ARE certain circumstances u cannot help but be disturbed.. just like today, i felt so good feeling like i can do d things i need to do but distraction really get the best of me. Wow. Thanks Bro. Bro. I have been restless in the past few months, stressing and worrying about a lot of things. You remind me of what I always forget…
For me, PEACE is having JESUS in my life…
No matter how busy or hectic or frustrating my day gets, at the end of the day, I still have the Lord with me…
Nothing beats that
Thanks be to God ! And thank you Bro. Bo for once more reminding me to always trust the Lord for this amazing grace.., having peace within ourselves. And by once more focusing on the purpose that the Lord intends us to be. But i may confess that sometimes i doubt or i’m confuse of my purpose and i know the Lord is sad whenever i have this thinking..but with the grace of the Holy Spirit, He always reminds me to trust Him and things will fall into place according to His time and will. And I know He will lead me on how i can worthily serve His purpose on me that will greatly give Him glory in Jesus name.
I used to think that God’s ultimate purpose in our lives is something concrete for us to do. After chasing careers here and there, I always felt I’m not doing what God wants me to do, so I jumped around. But with this, I realize, God just wants me to love, so anywhere I go from here, if I love the way God wants me to, I am already doing His ultimate purpose for me. I am right where I need to be.
Thanks again Bro. Bo.
this is so true! i totally agree! im an addicted to spa but i have to admit peace comes within me if i dont get angry, if im not irritated, if i didnt think of bad stuff toward anyone may it be family, friends, office mate or anyone. I find peace if i pray a lot or read your work Bo! it helps me to be a better person. =)

Bro. Bo,
I am so envy on people who find their inner peace. For me I have lot’s of doubt and question to HIM. Why that however I work I cannot achieve my goals for my company. For almost a year now I am in a church music ministry and returning back to serve our Lord. But still I cannot find that INNER PEACE. I am so ashame that sometime or most of the time I throw question to HIM on what is happening in my life. I guess I need to work on finding my inner peace and let the Lord guide me.
Your news letter help me in a timely manner when I am sourcing out for an answer to my question.
Regards
Dear Bro. Bo,
How do you get inner peace? By accepting that God saved us from our sins through His Son Jesus Christ. By submitting our self to Him, by letting Him lead our life. By knowing Him (reading the Bible) and following His teachings, every moment of our life. By delighting Him with our actions, thoughts and words every second of the day. By giving glory to His Name through our life. By loving others as we love ourselves.
To Venus and Hueric, pray to God to fill you with the Holy Spirit for guidance and strength everyday. Surrender yourself to Him everyday of your life and He will give you strength, joy and fulfillment everyday. Believe and have faith that He will give you a good life and you will have it.
Regards,
Orly S.

Indeed inner peace can only be achieved until we find our peace in Him.The world is not enough for His love. Thanks again Bro. James Bo for your golden wisdom.I mean Bro. Bo.Cheers!
i’ve been trying to find that inner peace and purpose for quiet a while now…i never felt happy nor atpeace with myself for a long time…probably because of things that happened in the past that i keep on thinking. i also have been trying to find my purpose for i find no reason for doing the things i am doing right now…
for me it is not material things that can make me happy, you are right, love…but what if you cannot find it…but what if love is also the very reason why i am feeling this way now…what if it is also the reason you got hurt so badly…
i wanted to find my purpose, i want to find my reason, i want to find an inner peace, i want to be happy
helo pO kuya bO!;)

hi bro. bo,
Thank you for this wonderful message about INNER PEACE, actually sometimes i felt alone and lonely i dont know whats happening on me maybe its bcoz of my age right now i’m still single. Sometimes i asked God whats my purpose of living here on earth since I’ve been into a relationship but it didnt work out well and it has different reason why it turns out into something bad. I try myself to be sincere and honest but I dont know why they cheated on me but thanks God He give me courage to move on and take bad memories passes by and still searching for someone whom i can say “God’s Gift”… Help me Bo to find the special one for me someone who have faith in God.
Thank you and more power. God bless…
Dear Brother Bo,
I read this blog just in time when I need some peace of mind.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing this brother bo!
hi bro. bo,
this article is tops!!! true, inner peace is what really makes one genuinely happy. from it comes true joy and love. like you said, alignment , living an orderly life attuned to love of God and others. you’re right , love is the reason for living. love is the reason Jesus came to the world to save us, and He still lives with us until now, and more closely if we seek for Him! only sin destroys this inner peace. in the sacrament of reconciliation, i found inner peace, joy and love, when i hear Jesus’ words as He absolves me in the person of His priest. the joy is overflowing that i didn’t realized i shed a tear or two. true what St. Augustine said, ” my heart is restless Lord, until it rests in You.” God’s love is a mystery, it’s beautiful! i remember a priest once said in his homily, ” they say, only fools fall in love, yet if being a fool is for Jesus, then i’d be a fool…”
thanks bro. bo. for this caring ” story telling “.
you are God’s lamp to this darkened world.
May God inspire you more.
God bless you and your family.

Religion
The root of the word “religion” is usually traced to the Latin religare (re: back, and ligare: to bind), so that the term is associated with “being bound.” The idea may reflect a concept prominent in biblical literature. As of now thousand of Religion are scattered the globe, Man believing in the bible and Jesus Christ is approximately 1000 denomination, Teaching different doctrine and different ways and approach in Christ law. Faith must be accompanied by substantial truth or evidence. In Christians faith must be accompanied by the word of God. In this article a direct approach in teaching the word of God must be used in order to understand God in the Bible and the wrong teaching of many religions that teaches Bible as a source and Jesus Christ as the savior.
Religion that teaches and accepting Idolatry
The process of creating images of God made in wood…….
Isaiah 44:13-17 The carpenter stretcheth out [his] rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house. {44:14} He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish [it. ]{44:15} Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth [it,] and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth [it;] he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto. {44:16} He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth [himself,] and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire {44:17} And the residue thereof he maketh a god, [even] his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth
God will not give his glory to any graven images….
Isaiah 42:8 I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
They worship images made of Silver or Gold…..
Acts 17:28-29 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. {17:29} Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
They put the glory of God into images
Romans 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
They worship the creature more than the creator, changing the truth into Lie…
Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Images or Idols that they put gold and silver…
Habbakuk 2:18-20 What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols? {2:19} Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it [is] laid over with gold and silver, and [there is] no breath at all in the midst of it. {2:20} But the LORD [is] in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
The images or Idols that cannot walk, cannot talk…
Psalm 115:4-7 Their idols [are] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. {115:5} They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: {115:6} They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: {115:7} They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
God condemned man in doing this, do not bow down, worship or serve…
Deutronomy 5:7-9 Thou shalt have none other gods before me. {5:8} Thou shalt not make thee [any] graven image, [or] any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the waters beneath the earth: {5:9} Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me.
Even Jeremiah Prophecy that Men will worship images called it as his Father or Mother……
Jeremiah 2:27 Saying to a stock, Thou [art] my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned [their] back unto me, and not [their] face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.
Idolatry is facing second death…in Hell.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Worship only God, the maker, the creator.
Psalm 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Idolatry is a direct commandment to man even in mosies era…
Exodus 20:4-5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: {20:5} Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;
Deutronomy 7:6 For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that [are] upon the face of the earth.
Worshiping images and idolatry is abominable to God
1 Peter 4:3 For the time past of [our] life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
God teaches us to Worship him in Spirit and Truth……
John 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.
Even Angel forbids man to kneel before them.
Revelation 22:8-9 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. {22:9} Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
Religion that teaches repetitive prayers
Repetition in prayer is prohibited by God
Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do:] for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
The bible teaches us to pray unseen for the Glory of God is within us….
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly
God already knew what we want before we start to pray…
Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Religion that teaches Trinity
The word Trinity is not listed in the Bible, this idea is made by man, and what does man said about Trinity…
The word “Trinity” comes from the Latin noun “trinitas” meaning “three are one.” “Trinity” expresses the belief that God is one Being made up of three distinct Persons who exist in co-equal, co-eternal communion as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Does God and Jesus Co-equal?
Jesus said that his father is greater that him…..
John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
That Jesus is slave of his master, and the master is greater that his slave…..
John 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
Jesus said that the Father is greater than ALL
John 10:29 My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father’s hand.
Religion that teaches Oneness
Religious Doctrine who believes in Oneness indicates that God the Father and Jesus is the same person.
God and Jesus is one… true but not as a person but in pursuing to save all mankind…
John 17:9-11 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. {17:10} And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. {17:11} And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we.
Figuratively they are not one…..
Galatian 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor
female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
As the Woman and Man is one so as God and Jesus……
Matthew 19:5-6 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? {19:6} Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
To prove that they are different, Jesus is the savior of Body the Church…
Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
And God is the Savoir of all men…..
1 Timothy 4:10 Fortherefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
Religion that teaches One save always saved no need for man to work.
Religion teaching that accepting only Jesus Christ as personal Lord and savior is enough to be saved, No need for works and they use the verse in
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of
God: {2:9} Not of works, lest any man should boast.
If work is not need anymore then this is contradicting in the verse where works is necessary.
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
And I do believed that there is no contradiction in every word that God Spoken…
Proverb 8:7-8 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness [is] an abomination to my lips. {8:8} All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing forward or perverse in them.
What does the verse Ephesians 2:8-9 mean?
Explanation start in the higher version. Apostle Paul speak to the gentile who is a sinners….
Ephesians 2:1-3 And you [hath he quickened,] who were dead in trespasses and sins; {2:2} Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: {2:3} Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
And they are save from their SIN… which God did not need any works for them.
Ephesians 2:4-7 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, {2:5} Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) {2:6} And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: {2:7} That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Faith is part for man to be save…
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power
of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
A Sinner can save by faith and it can wash their SIN…. but Jesus still insist for believers to continue to do good thing to inherit salvation….
II Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: {3:17} That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works
Apostle Paul concludes that he already finished the will of God when he is dying….
I Timothy 4:6-7 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. {4:7} But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself [rather] unto godliness.
To prove it, If man accepted the word of God and afterward rejected it, they cannot be saved.
Hebrew 6:5-6 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, {6:6} If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame.
Continue doing evil after receiving the word of God will separate you from God.
Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.
Sinning willfully will separate you from God
Hebrew 10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.
1 Corinthian 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Gift…
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of
God: {2:9} Not of works, lest any man should boast. {2:10} For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Gift in the power to released in sin, delivered from the power of darkness…
Ephesians 2:1-5 And you [hath he quickened,] who were dead in trespasses and sins; {2:2} Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: {2:3} Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. {2:4} But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, {2:5} Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Ecclesiastes 3:13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it [is] the gift of God
Reward…
Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of
angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly
puffed up by his fleshly mind,
II John 1:8-9 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. {1:9} Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
Reward that need of works….
{22:11} He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. {22:12} And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
{22:13} I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Salvation = Gift (freely give without work to those who have faith) + Reward (this will attain by working for your own salvation by following the Law of Christ until the coming of our lord Jesus Christ)
First step of salvation if the Gift to saved in the power of darkness or sins, no works needed, it can give to anybody. Second is the Reward that you need to work and until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Religion that teaches Infant Baptism
Infant baptism is accepting by other doctrine saying that the newly born babies inherit the original sin committed by Adam and Eve….. What does the bible teaches us about sin…
Children have no knowledge about the word of God…
Hebrew 5:13 For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Every infant does not commit sin, because sin is a transgression of the law….
I John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Baptism is washing of sin……
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Baptism is for sinners…
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Sin cannot inherit….
Proverb 13:22 A good [man] leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
Children is the greatest in kingdom of God…..
Matthew 18:1-4 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? {18:2} And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, {18:3} And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. {18:4} Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Religion that teaches God is everywhere
Other Doctrine teaching us that God can be found everywhere.
God can’t be found in the temple made by hands
Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
God is no found in the place where evil is there….
James 3:15-16 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish. {3:16} For where envying and strife [is,] there [is] confusion and every evil work.
Where is God? – Jesus says God is in heaven
Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. {6:10} Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Where is God – it is the heart of believers, followers, righteous
1 Corinthian 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
The Eye of God is everywhere, he can see us what we are doing….
Proverb 15:3 The eyes of the LORD [are] in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
Religion that teaches God can do everything (omni-potent)
First thing that God cannot do is to Lie…
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
God cannot utter, to Lie…
Hebrew 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Man does evil things that God did know instruct them to do or even enter in his mind…
Jeremiah 7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded [them] not, neither came it into my heart.
Jeremiah 19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire [for] burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake [it,] neither came [it] into my mind:
God cannot change himself…..
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
God is a perfect being and cannot be perfected…
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Religion that teaches and apply the 10% tights
10% tights is only law given to the generation of Levi…
Hebrew 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it. ]
The law that pertaining to the law of Moises to Israelite…
Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, [with] the statutes and judgments.
Not all of the offering of men is acceptable by God…
Proverb 15:8-9 The sacrifice of the wicked [is] an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright [is] his delight. {15:9} The way of the wicked [is] an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
This Law was changes when Jesus Christ came….
Hebrew 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Jesus Law required a cheerful giver, based on his heart, willfully and not grudgingly…..
2 Corinthian 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give;] not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Religion that teaches just accepting Jesus Christ and no need for works
The whole duty of man is to workout your own salvation….
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man. {12:14} For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil.
By work you will become perfect to God….
James 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
Jesus created Christians to do good works…..
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Religion that accept donation to all people or their teaching is with certain amount or fee.
Not all of the offering of men is acceptable by God…..
Proverb 15:8-9 The sacrifice of the wicked [is] an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright [is] his delight. {15:9} The way of the wicked [is] an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
In fact the offering of Abel is accepted by God but not of Cain…
Genesis 4:2-5 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. {4:3} And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. {4:4} And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: {4:5} But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell
Apostle Paul teaches people about the word of God but did not take anything to them
3 John 1:7 Because that for his name’s sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.
Apostle preach with no fee…
Matthew 10:5-8 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not: {10:6} But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. {10:7} And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. {10:8} Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Religion that teaches do not ask any question/verses because you are devilish
In old time the people are asking question to the seeker or prophet….
1 Samuel 9:9 (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for [he that is] now [called] a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
God order us to ask…
Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein. ]{6:17} Also I set watchmen over you, [saying,] Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
Seek for the book of the Lord…..
Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Do not think above that which is written…
1 Corinthian 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and [to] Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think [of men] above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
If a man consider himself as a prophet …. then this should follow what was written.
1 Corinthian 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
Bible is written for the man who wants to follow
Psalm 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
For the people in the last days…
1 Corinthian 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Religion that teaches Jesus is a man and not a God
Jesus is a God … and made flesh to dwell in us.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jesus is God, Jesus is also Lord…
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus was manifest in the Flesh… it is a mystery of Godliness
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Jesus Christ in him dwell the fullnest of a Godhead…
Colosas 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
When Jesus enter into this world, God Prepared a body (flesh) for Christ.
Hebrew 10:9-10 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. {10:10} By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all. ].
Jesus is came from God…
John 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
Jesus came from Heaven…
John 6:33-35 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. {6:34} Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. {6:35} And Jesus said unto them, I
am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Jesus Manifest in the flesh. Jesus is a GOD…
I Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Religion that teaches and practice the application of Sabbath nowadays
Jesus and the apostles did not practice the Sabbath…..
Matthew 12:1-2 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. {12:2} But when the Pharisees saw [it,] they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
Jesus Break the Sabbath….
John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Jesus went in synagogue on Sabbath day not to practice it but to teach the gospel to people…..
Lucas 4:16-20 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. {4:17} And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the
place where it was written, {4:18} The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, {4:19} To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. {4:20} And he closed the book, and he gave [it] again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
Religion that teaches that the result of Baptism is the gift of tongue or speaking in tongue.
Speaking in tongue happen in apostles at the time where they are crowded by people speaks in different language, In order for people to understand them they speaks in different languages and all of them understand…
Acts 2:6-10 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. {2:7} And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? {2:8} And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? {2:9} Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, {2:10} Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, {2:11} Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
And if man speaks where on one can understand should shut their mounth.
1 Corinthian 14:27-28 If any man speak in an [unknown] tongue, [let it be] by two, or at the most [by] three, and [that] by course; and let one interpret. {14:28} But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
Therefore it is not true that the result of holy spirit is a gift of tongue. The result of Baptism is written as….
Galatian 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,
faith, {5:23} Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. {5:24} And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. {5:25} If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk
in the Spirit. {5:26} Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Therefore the Gift of holy spirit can make man to do good and be good.
Religion that teaches that faith alone can save.
Religion nowadays teaches man that by faith alone can save us.
In the verses below the bible teach us that that we to ADD in our faith virtue knowledge, temperance, diligence, patience, charity, brotherly kindness etc etc, without this you’re blind.
II Peter 1:5 - 10 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; {1:6} And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; {1:7} And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. {1:8} For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. {1:9} But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. {1:10} Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
Religion that teaches that “No one is perfect and nobody can obey the fullness of God’s Law”.
Thank God for people like you. Thank you for being selfless in sharing your blessings, your thoughts. By doing so, many become aligned to God’s love and direction. The world which needs more people like you who are ready to dedicate themselves to work for peace, inside and out of a person. I am praying that you may continously be a blessing to the world.
Greetings Bro. Bo i just wat to thank you for all the good things you’ve shared with us, it serves as an inspiration in our daily living in whatever situations we’re in. I believe that inner peace can only found in God’s love. Before i discover this, i’ve been through a lot of pain searching for true happiness. I thought having material things, a love life , career etc. can make me happy but at the end of the day there is an emptiness and sadness i feel despite of having these things. Until i found God who can provide all things i needed even miracles, i put my trust in Him because i know He will never forsake me.
Thanks Bro. Bo and God Bless!
Thanks for the wake-up call Bo…
I have been putting of working extra shifts out of laziness… because I forgot THE REASON why I’m here in the US… to fulfill a life-long dream to build a school in Cebu.
I’m glad your emails always seem to arrive in my Inbox at the right time. And right after we prayed the Angelus too!
Have a wonderful time on your travels… I bet your passport is starting too look pretty colorful.
To Venus, on June 26th, 2008@11:59a.m.
Dear Venus,
Hi, My name is jackie. Just like you I am a single parent of a 6 year old boy too and I tell you it’s not really easy to take care of a child alone physically, emotionally and financially. Your situation of having a special child is not easy. It’s a 24/7 job. Your child needs you to be there by his side all they long. He needs a special kind of care that only mothers can give. If you want my advise and if ever I am in that kind of situation, I would resign from my work and be a fulltime mother to my son. And the money that I would be getting as separation, i would use it for business. And if ever that would not be enough, don’t worry for God will provide, just have faith.
Presently, I am working as an exec assistant. And by next year, I am planning to resign from the company because I feel that my son needs me more than anything else. the money that I would get from thecompany will serve as my capital for a small business. God will be my provider.
Inner peace should come from within in you. PRAY a lot and ask for HIS Guidance and strength.
To you, venus, I am praying for you. Give your ALL to your son, he needs you.
“Before you think of bowing to me, canonizing me a saint, and cutting my hair for holy relics, let me make one thing very clear: I don’t always think this way.”
Yes Bo! You’re just only human so don’t expect that people will bowing to you in all the good things that you do or make you a saint… God blessed you abundantly so that you will become God’s helping hand here on earth… We are nothing without God… Be always humble… Don’t get me wrong… I’m not against you because you are the follower of God and you help the needy…. but most of the time when God blessed us abundantly we easily forget that it all comes from God… We always thought that it all comes from our own strength and power that we became selfish, and prideful but still act as if we are really Holy because God still blessed us! What if God only tests us by all the blessings that He has given us, on how we could handle and taking care of it? Don’t lose your way… never stop looking for the right way and serve only God… it is far more than your family, friends and career…. they are just part of your purpose here on earth…

Hi bro. Bo….so, here we are again..nourished, fed. refreshed by the Word and of course, from your own- life sharings, true-to-life experiences! Oh yah, no one’s perfect even though how hard we try to go for our goal in serving “The Reason” in our life! That”s real! That’s true! I’ve experienced that same thing! I know something’s wrong in me that i can’t figure it out …till i go before HIM and pokes me ..that i’m the reason of it all! I would become judgemental & make justifications, yet the main reason is there! Humbled yet PEACE WITHIN comes in again! God is Perfect! He is All-knowing! He is “The Manager” of all my doings, in all…so HE KNEW!!! I just love serving Him coz I’m growing & becoming more mature, gaining wisdom from His Admonishments,Rebukes,,,Oh, Just Love it! Accept it! Embrace it! Then, “INNER PEACE”!!! MY JESUS COME!!!
God bless and grants inner peace to all of us! Amen!!
thanks bro bo!
for hueric,
most are experiencing the same way as you are experiencing your life now and also dreaming your dreams… yes, it pains when we want to give but nothing to give…
my advice…take action!
take responsibility for your finances meaning help yourself…educate yourself about personal finance… there are many mentors out there… read books, attend seminars and search in the internet about personal finance…learn about active and passive income…surround yourself with positive people especially people who have dreams and working-out on their dreams to become a reality…change your vision from being “naghihikahos” to being “receiving prosperity and abundance and sharing your blessings to others”… so long as you see yourself in that state of adversity and poorness … as law of attraction being always in the move and motion … you will stay in that state…
remember, richness and success do not happen overnight… there’s a process. sow thoughts and feelings of wealth and abundance … take action! …allow! …have faith and trust God and Lord Jesus! …be excited! …receive and accept richness and abundance! your life will going to unfold!
God is with us! We are children of God! We deserve His love and blessings!
P.S. hueric, what’s your e-mail? I’ll send you articles about vision boards and law of attraction.
i totally agree.
God’s love is the only constant thing in this world. (aside from the overrated ‘change’… ;P)
when we trully know God, and how He trully loves us.
when we fully believe the truth of what Christ has did for us… we can truly know peace. the true kind of peace.
yes, once in a while, we fail. we fall.
but God loves us nonetheless.
We could only experience PEACE when we realize that every good thing we do will not make God love us more; and any sin won’t make God love us less…
adding up to that, when we see that we were made by God because of love, and we exist and live because of that love… we then understand that it is what makes up this world, anything we do that is not directed by that LOVE would be things done in futility.
so work on LOVE. and work in LOVE.
orayti! ^_^
thanks bro. bo…
God has just answered my prayer through you.
I have been feeling weary and confused lately, not knowing where my life is going - and this is right…. we need to identify our REASON for living.
LOVE is the REASON… let us put this to heart. Act with love in all our endeavours.
Thank you so much for always enlightening people like me.
thanks bro bo for this inspiring message! you always lifts up my spirit!
Heuric & Venus,
God loves you so much that He will help you with your concerns right now.The one who has HOPE has everything! He is always the answer! Your reflections and sharing was touching and has touched many reader.

God gave us freedom to choose. I understand that you are trying to share your beliefs here, but please post your ‘preaching’ somewhere else. With due respect, your comments took a lot of space :o)
If ever you are against our Catholic religion, (maybe you were once a Catholic, like many others…), please, please don’t put down the ONE & ONLY CHURCH that Jesus Christ had established. From St. Peter (our first Pope) where Jesus said , ” Peter: you are rock, and on this rock foundation, I will build my church, and not even death will ever be able to overcome it. I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven; what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven; and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19 From our first Pope, St. Peter to our current Pope Benedict XVI, now, can someone pls. tell me which religion did Christ built?
Btw, we, Catholics NEVER worship images or statues. They are reminders , visual image of someone we admire, we love and we ask for help or as intercessors. Now, tell me, do you have a picture of your loved one/s in your wallet? With your great affection, have you ever kissed his/her picture?
That’s exactly the same way…when we talk to or pray to GOD or ask prayers from Mama Mary or all the saints. We believe in communion of saints.
For example, have you ever asked someone to pray for you? Is that person holy? Even if she’s not, as long as you know someone prays for you. You very well know, that it is a big help. How much more the prayer of a holy person that has a powerful effect? (James 5:16)
I can go on and on… I can only pray for you now…
It really hurts to see someone leaving the Catholic church without first finding out (studying) answers to their doubts before leaving…

Praise and Thank You, Lord!!! Praise be the mighty name of JESUS! Amen!

to myra,
hi! am sure probably by now, we already know bro. bo’s style in writting to convey effectively his message to the readers. the statements you qoute is another way of catching your attention in a jest or joke! alam na natin ang style ni bro. bo. so just smile and don’t take life so seriously. in fact, we should all strive to be saints here on earth and with capital letter S- saints in heaven later on. Jesus said, ” Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect.
SMILE !!!
Hi Bo,
Thank God for you and all the wonderful messages and inspirations shared to the whole wide world. Truly, inner peace does not come from anything else but in the Holy presence of our Lord.
Me, i can say that i had been through a lot of trying times since childhood. And the space provided for may not be enough to name it all. And until now, I stil experience problems, trials and many more (whatever we may call them) but I am so lucky cause despite of eveything, I can still sleep at peace. I may be faced with different problems evey now and then, but i still got the peace that God always sends me. truly, my problems may not be as heavy as the others may have but God is really powerfully working in my life and in the life of others. i guess, its up to us how we see it. either a blessing or a curse.
I guess the secret to that is to entrust everything to Him. we may not understand now what is his message for us but those experiences will leave marks that can be used as lessons which we can always rely on. Though it hurts, try to let go and beleive that God would replace everything we had lost. And in time, we will see the fulfillment of His will in our life. Its human nature to go against the will of God, maybe because we didn’t know it yet. or have we even asked him what he wants for us? or we have just insisting him with what we want? take time to listen…. listen to him and he will make himself clearer to us. remember, he loves us so much that he cannot drew us away from him. allow yourself to follow him even if u have second thoughts. as he said, “my ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts”. he always have the best plan for our lives. open your heart to receive the fullness of his blessings. we are all bombarded with all the different kinds of problems but rest assured that as we sleep at night, we surrender all the heavy burdens to Him. and the next day, the problem may still be there but you’ve got more strenght to move on and go with your daily life because you know that today, winning the battle does not matter. what matter most is that we are present in the battle field. anyway, the battle is not ours but its God’s.
thank God for every little blessings we have. appreciate eveything small or big. because if we do, we can appreciate more blessings he is about to shower us.
God bless us all. May your life be filled with the blessings God has instored for each and everyone of us. Continue praying for one another. pray for peace and he will give it to you undoubtedly.
praying for you too,
ivy
just want to share some more… here’s what i do whenever i cannot bear the heavy load.
before i sleep, i cry out to the Lord everything. as in every little thing i feel. all the hurts, the pains, the anger, and all the emotions i am feeling at that time. i am not afraid to tell him all that, because i know even before i open my mouth, he already knew it. so i cry and cry until there’s no more to drop. i even tell him how angry i am. there were times i asked him, “do you even heard my prayers?” you are not answering it but again, do you even heard all of it?” you see, i am just like you. i am just like other ordinary people who feel upset, mad, happy or sad. i tell it to him directly. but after i say my long, long , long piece, i say sorry if i have said something that had offended him. and just i say sorry, i can feel a huge hand hugging me oh so tight telling me, “stop crying now. its time for you to rest.” and as i close my eyes, i can feel him beside me and guiding me all through the night. the next day, the problem is still there. but i’ve got more power and strenght to move on and continue with my life. because i know he is with me. guiding me through no matter what. you see, he doesn’t even give any answers to all my questions or what not. he just made me rest in peace. rest in his everlasting peace. and it made me feel good. knowing that in whatever circumstances i may be, he is with me.
hope you get inspired. and somehow, i’ve shared hope to those who need it.
regards,
ivy
If I can’t carry heavy load… I tell it to my trusted friends. So I could let it go. But they cannot give me absolution.
I think Jesus’ best friend is Peter. He called him the rock.
To Joker and all readers:
… I’m a jolly person, don’t worry, I make people laugh hehehe… and I’m enjoying my life to enlighten people’s lives not to destruct or giving them doubt (do you know what I mean?)
… I told it already that I’m not against him… the only Judge is God and nothing else so I have no right to judged anyone… pero may mga pagkakataong nawawala tayo sa tamang direction and most of the time we are not aware that we’re lost and take it as if nothing’s wrong… that’s my point! : ) … nasasaad nga sa Bible di ba that it’s our responsibility to remind the person if we know that there’s something wrong to a person but in a right way and not degrading him/her… well, may kanya-kanya naman tayong calling and God gave us different talent, intellect and skills to serve Him… It’s only the PRIDE most of the time why it hurts sometimes to take the comments and suggestions of the people who really care about us (gets mo po ba?)
“PEACE” - it’s the topic anyway…
… well lahat naman ng problem masasagot ng bible because it’s God’s words and God can talk us through the Bible… sabi nga ni Ronald Reagan “Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems men face.” and Theodore Roosevelt said “A thorough knowlegde of the Bible is worth more than a college education.” So put your Trust in God and have Faith in Him dahil kahit ano pang problema nyo pera man yan or baon ka man sa utang walang magagawa ang ibang tao for you if there’s NO GOD’S PERMISSION… Si God pa rin ang mas makakatulong sa inyo… I’m not saying this for you to believe in me but BELIEVE in GOD that He really EXIST AND WATCHING OVER US… read the parable of the Fig Tree. We are just God’s helping hand but God has the only power to enlighten you and help you in all your burdens in life… We are just God’s instrument… so kahit anong seminar pa ang salihan nyo kung Walang pahintulot ni God these are meaningless… Hindi ba kayo nagtataka kung bakit punong puno tayo ng burdens, kung bakit nawawala ang mga taong mahal natin at mga bagay na gusto o kailangan natin? God allows all these things to happen to caught our attention and because He wants us to depend on Him and fully trust Him (Read the story of Job)… Only God gives us peace in the midst of storm. Madalas hinahanap natin ang attention, care and love or help from others but still we feel incomplete and empty di ba? dahil si God lang naman talaga ang makakapagbigay sa inyo nun… for it is written in the bible “seek and you will find; ask and you will received; knock and the door will be open to you…” God gave us family, friends, loved ones, and all the things we need, right? At kaya ring bawiin lahat ni God yun if we continually ignored Him and because in the first commandments “Love Your God Above All…” God is a jealous God so Love Him most above all things and anyone else… Jesus said, if you want to follow me… surrender your whole life … meaning your family, friends, loved ones and the world(wealth and career)… ok po ba? marami din akong napagdaanang pagsubok at nalampasan ko un lahat… di ko nahanap yun sa iba Kung hindi kay God lang… mag-umpisa ka kay God at maiintindihan mo lahat… hanggang dito na lang muna po mga kapatid hanggang sa muli…. May God enlighten your mind and bless you All abundantly!
I take my life seriously following God
dear kuya bo,
inner peace for me is accepting what you are and who you are.ang pagtanggap sa katotohanan ay isang paraan upang makamit mo ang tunay na kapayapaan ng kalooban.
ang pagkilos ng naaayon sa tunay na layunin ng ating buhay ayon sa plano ng DIYOS ay pagkakaroon ng tunay na kapayapaan ng kalooban.
COD BLESS US ALL
Did I misread your article? The greatest commandment is love God above all and then love your neighbor and in that order. I believe that what gives us inner peace is obedience to the Lord. We cannot know this unless we spend quiet times before Him. Busyness rubs us of those moments that should have been spent in quietness before God. Loving our neighbor is the result of loving God.
There is a fine line between glorifying God and glorifying ourselves. No one is immune to this it is only in God’s grace that we will know the difference.
wow! thank you so much for this blog bro.Bo!
im still a student yet i could also apply this. I’m very happy!
and just enjoy your trip because you are very fortunate to travel the world within a month. I even dream to go to those places that u have been.
thank you so much Bro.Bo!
thank you also for sending me daily readings!
i’m a very optimistic person, a friend of all and the nicest person that you can have for a company or atleast that one I used to think about myself. but deep inside i am broken, insecure and bitter about my life and my relationship. everyday i wake up and feel frustrated that i cater to my worldly needs than my spiritual needs. i seldom read your emails but when i do there is a sudden quench of my spiritual thirst. thank you for being God’s worker! i feel saved every time i am reminded that God is really there no matter what. I realized no one is perfect! thank God! i no longer feel inadequate!
again thank God, thank you and i love you!
dear myra,
hi! thanks for your message of peace, hope and love! that’s why i like this page of bro. bo ’cause we all share one another’s enlightenment from our God, thereby helping one another to reach our goal which is eternal joy with Jesus our Lord! am amazed of bro. bo’s ministry for it covers almost the whole world, reaching us here in the u.s. you have the gift of ministry , so i won’t be surprised to see more of your articles one day.
if anything harm is done, forgive me! you need not say sorry to me for you haven’t done anything wrong.
God bless you always !!!
love you all guys !!! smile and be happy always!
hi kuya bo,
you’re right! it’s only us who makes our choices in life. if we want our life to be debt free so we must know how to manage our money well and avoid borrowing money only for unneccessary things. that’s what i realized this past few days. i learned from it. thanks for always sharing your God-given wisdom to us. may you continue imparting wonderful teachings to us. indeed you’re a great teacher to me. thanks a lot! keep soaring.
I must say that I am a fan of yours. Whenever I receive the alert of your latest blog, I would always take some time to read it and ponder on it… My life has never been easy since when I get on to this relationship I am with now. He’s been making lies at me over and over and I would always end up forgiving him and hoping that he would truly change like what he’s promised. So far he’s never shown me something that would be hurtful for me but believe me, after he admitted the lies he made, I’m finding it hard to just forget everything and move on fully. The things he did always bothers me and I would always end up reminding myself that I love him and the chance I give him is for the better of our relationship. I just can’t have that “Inner Peace” no matter how hard I try myself to stay focused. To have that peace of mind I am longing for so that I can enjoy all the beautiful things that’s been happening with my life now. I’m lost! And my prayers… God… my family are my only strength now…
Thank you for always sharing your inspiring stories!
God bless!
hi brother bo,
i do agree with you very much that inner peace is only attained in aligning yourself to God’s love. i remember my theology teacher telling our class before that the human soul are like plants drawn to light. just as plants are drawn to whatever nourishes them such as light, there is that something in the human soul that draws us towards goodness and righteousness. once we turn against this natural proclivity, we are stunting the growth of our own soul thus disturbing us to the very core. when we feel that kind of disturbance, we should heed it because perhaps that’s God’s way of telling us that we are not doing what he set us out to do in our lives. but then, that’s not always easy to do for a long list of reasons i will not elaborate on further…
right now, i feel that kind of disturbance within me. i actually thought at first that i was in the right path. i’m actually living my dream to become a teacher so i do not understand why i am bothered so. every night i pray to God that he direct me to whatever path he wants me to take if i am traversing the wrong road. i am certainly confused right now. i hope you can pray for me and others who are experiencing what i am going through right now.
thank you very much.
Hi Bo!
I have been a fan since Philcoa days of LOJ Sunday gatherings..this is the first time that i will post a comment. I agree with you that inner peace is knowing the reason is “love”…loving one another no matter how difficult the person is, no matter how much he had hurt you, loving and still continuing to show respect for that person. I am in a dilemma right now because I believe I have done all that my strength can to be like the saints and love this person who has given me so much pain, talk about being broken-hearted….however, as a mentor, I needed to train and develop face him everyday despite the personal conflict. I have read this blog before, but thank you for reminding me how to have the “inner peace”, and now, I know that I am actually doing the right thing. My reason of still helping this person grow and succeed is because of love, and the kind of love that God would have also given me. I am also not perfect, but God still continues to love me despite of all my sins, so who am I not to love this person….I kept asking myself if what I was doing was foolishness, only then to realize that I have a good reason to continue to do so…without any expectations, but only commitment to follow the Lord’s greatest commandment.
To Aubrey Ann,
I salute you for having the courage to defend our catholic faith, for sometimes I can’t understand why people keep on attacking and judging the catholic faith. But they are so pitiful for they are easily enticed and believe in false teachers. Let”s just pray that they may find inner peace in their new belief so that they will focus their attention to Jesus Christ and live according to God’s will.
Thanks for the links you put it here so I can also browse them for myself.
I’m proud to be catholic. Though it’s maybe not a perfect religion (for it is administered by human beings), at least we know that the founder of our church is perfect, since he is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ.
i really so much inspire in your sharing as well as what we should need to do to have inner peace..but i think as a student, sometimes its hard to follow to love one another.like love your enemy.but were only a human, and we can’t avoid to hate our enemy..how can love my enemy instead of hating them?
I agree with you Bo.
Let me add that he who has inner peace is happy.
A teacher asked a child: What do you want to be when you grow up?
The child answered: I want to be happy.
I believe that way to happiness is through fulfilling our purpose. So, one may ask: What is my purpose? If someone does not know yet his purpose, therefore his immediate purpose is to look for this Purpose, and afterwards live his purpose. How?
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness…and all of these things (including that which you seek) will be given to you.
More power!

if there’s one more gift i ask of you Lord it would be peace here on earth..that’s the lyrics of bukas palad song…..i agree with you bro Bo coz really happens to my life that unless i should show love to ohers my concience is haunting me…just a few weeks when i have troubled with my co worker he was really angry with me for things that I really dont do…i was so shock that he got mad with me he accuse with the things that i didnt do…the truth is that our korean co worker did it..im thinking of revenge.i had sleepless nights thinking of that incidents…but the good thing is my concience telling me to pray for him instead…praise God after 1 day he knows that im innocent…he say sorry for everything….
there is no peace says the Lord, unto the wicked.
God Bless!!
hi sir Bo!
Thank you for the enlightenment… it helps me a lot!
am expecting again another golden words from you…
daghang salamat!!!!
Hi Bo, I’ve been reading your articles and this one particularly struck a cord within me. Yes, I have done some things out of selfishness and you’re right, there really is a certain disturbance I felt inside. So, that;s what it was. I had no inner peace while doing things that were not pleasing to His eyes. While I claim that I was happy with what I was doing. It felt good that I thought it must be right. But I felt miserable deep inside. I guess when I finally said, I was not cut out for it, it meant that I could not live peacefully without His grace and approval. It was a good thing that He reeled me in and said, “that’s enough”. Nowadays, where I still struggle from time to time, I try to live my life completely trusting in His perfect time..knowing soon enough, I will “discover that the pain found in waiting always has a magnificent and awesome purpose… “
HI Mariel 5317,
I understand what you mean by completing trusting in His perfect time. I almost have everything right now, beyond my imagination, at the time i was waiting for His plans, i used to cry everyday in front of the Blessed Sacrament, but deep inside i never questioned God “why”, i was just venting my frustrations…but when the pain repeats itself, it’s just so hard to go back with the waiting and trusting again…thank you….thank you for reminding me….and I am here to say that i have witnessed the rewards of waiting and accepting His plans for us…like a mother to her kids….God know’s best!..always….thank you for your comment! I shall pray for you as well, for i know the pain and frustrations of where you are right now…..
thanks bo……coz im enlightened. i have been searching for inner peace…..i have had this longing very long time ago but no matter what i do..its just not doing well…..now i know why…..please help me in my next try to achieve inner peace
to aubrey ann:
im not putting down God or my religion.. what i said is that i am just confused.. and as i have plainly stated. i do believe in God, in good and evil, in the responsibility of chosing between the two..
Why?
because i can fell them, i can see them, even without anyone telling me. its evident, and so is GOD.. i cn strongly feel His presence.. and His Love.. the usual problem with the society (im not referring to you aubrey) is that when you do not completely agree with everything religion has to say, they would comdemn you as pagan, they would judge you as anti-christ, etc. What i firmly believe right now is that i do not necessarily have to proclaim myself as a christian catholic to show my faith in God, and my obedience to His Will.. i simply have to do what is good and right for his people. and although im still confused.. it doesnt mean i dont respect my religion. because i do.. i cant see any reason to do otherwise. I just need more time to understand it. and more help from those who are willing ..
and your prayer Aubrey Ann is one thing.
Thank you so much .
i truly appreciated it.
Godbless you always.
to me: (the one who responded to my comment)
thank you for your words of encouragement and wisdom..
by the way, here is my email ad: hueric272@yahoo.com
do send me helpful tips and information with regards to my dilemma..
thank you so much..
May God Bless You Always!
peace is not the absence of trouble. i have a favorite verse in the bible which makes me at peace even in this troubled world. “you will cry & mourn while the world rejoices, but your tears will turn into joy” . . . i know I am a sinner right now, and my papa, once wrote me that I can only have peace if I am at peace with my God . . . and I can only be at peace with my God, if I obey His commandments. At this point, I am still reaping what I sow, if I did bad deeds in the past, I am still suffering for this. But since, I believe in God’s Divine mercy, I have asked for his forgiveness, for his mercy and grace. So now, there is peace although I am a struggling saint to be, which is our ultimate goal. Along life’s journey, there will be pain and sorrows, but let us focus on our purpose here on earth and our ultimate goal, which is eternal life. To be a Saint although once a sinner. . . God bless you all for your sharings and for Bo for providing this venue for us to share and care.
may we all love each other so that all of us will have “INNER PEACE”!
i like this article so much. thanks bro. bo!
if you’re going to ask me who’s my idol, i’ll answer its Bro. bo and all the people like him. Why? because whenever i se people like him on tv and listen to their stories about God, im so amazed because they have full of inner peace and they are always positive about life. how i wish i can achieve that too. because for me, its really hard to stay positive. people judge me, there are a lot of trials along the way which tests your character.
i always listen to bro. bo on radio veritas every morning, i go to church every sunday and watch bro. bo’s show on channel 5 because that makes my whole week perfect and i feel great. and from hat i can achieve my own inner peace. but when week days start, i become stressed out again and its really tough.
i know my faith is not that strong yet but im doing what i can. whenever i pray i always ask God for inner strength. i hope that one day i can be one of the people who’s faith is so strong and my life is full of joy no matter how hard life is, just like bro. bo and the people like him.
God bless bro. bo, you’re amazing!!!!
hope you could pay attention to this i really need help regarding this inner peace… i know my purpose and what God wants me to do. but i need to know something that really bothers me for a long time… i hope you could help me, coz i really need it. it affects my whole being… thank you so much. God bless you.
What if you’ve prayed for something - like a job, promotion, a business…a when it’s almost there you realized it’s not exactly what you want…Let’s say you wanted a job and when it was given to you you thought “Hey, is this really what I want?” With all the work involved, the stress, the time you spend in the office, the pressure of performing etc….Then you lose sleep, you’re stressed out, you’re family is affected too, they got worried with you - You’re unhappy in general….You’ve prayed for it because you want to improve financially but then you’re not at peace. What does it mean? Am I taking God’s gift for granted because I am embraced by fear or Is God asking me “Is this what you want my son? because I have other plans for you”…..Please help me. God bless everyone.
Confused individual
P.S. I never stopped praying maybe I’m just afraid to take on this new role that is given because of the consequences that comes with it - stress, less time f\with family, fear of failure, dealing with “difficult” boss and colleagues - I want a work-life balance and yet earn well more than enough for me and my family so I can share MORE. At the same time I’m asking Him if he has other plans that He lead me now for the mental agony is unbearable.

How will i have that “soul alignment”? How will i learn to love? How will i know “the Reasons” of me being here in this world?
i agree with you bro. Bo. inner peace doesn’t come from being quite, medications, spa or just simply ignore it. it just came from your heart. Did you know that I’m in the big chaos as i read your article.honestly i don’t know what I’m gonna do with my life..i even ask god why he wanted me to live longer in this cruel world.?after reading your article i was enlighten by your words.now i know what aim looking for..INNER PEACE and the reason of it.
thanks and god bless
As i have been listening with Bro. Bo during the first (3) weeks at the feast. I see Bo’s face so peaceful when we hear you speak it really touches my hearrt into my deepest feelings. As you mention earlier you have a passion with drawing when you preach you are like drawing a particular object which has come to life. We too comes out of the feast peaceful and full of God’s grace and abundance.
I too have a license to care and to Love. Because Jesus Christ is the 1st one to do so Isn’t it right to imitate His loving ways, patience, compassion and goodness.
He will bless us exceedingly and abundantly in His own perfect time. Let us just pray and ASK
A-ask
S-seek
K-knock
For God does not ignore a contrite or a persistent heart. God’s answers are wonderful and true leave the details to Him for He has the best solutions in all our problems.
God bless us all,
Rose
Do you want Inner Peace? - It caught my attention :),
I really do want an inner peace within me.. im totally broken, emotionally and physically. When we loose our courage, we really loose everything, when confusion and bitterness build within us, everything fails.
Prayer is powerful and start all over again., go back to basic. Lord, please guide us always and forgive us.Amen
Do you believe that Catholicism is not a religion that gives inner peace? The core belief of Catholicism is SUFFERING, to take up your cross everyday and offer it up for “God” and mortify. That does not give you inner peace.
Protestants work hard since they believe in predestination of the soul. They do this to convince themselves that they have done everything good in this life to avoid a miserable existence in the afterlife, to have merits that they can justify on the day of judgment.
On the other hand, Buddhism teaches the absence of desire, to be free from superficial worldly things in order to achieve inner peace. I like Theravada Buddhism since Catholicism did not give me inner peace but it only worsened my inner conflict.
sir I want to ask if what I feel and think as of this moment is still normal and acceptable? the only way I know to achieve the peace of mind I’ve been searching for quite a long time now is to be away from my family! I am applying right now for a job overseas…And I have no plans to tell my family for now at least…
Ive been reading your blog since last year and its my first time to comment. Deep down I just want to say thank you Brother Bo. I discover your blog, prior to my board exam.. And it helps me alot. This blog serves as the tunnel of light during my dark days. After I discovered this blog, I encourage my family to attend mass on PICC. Now we attend at PICC every sunday. We always look forward to your message every sunday. Truly, its the happiest place cause you speak directly to everyone’s heart. I love you Brother Bo
