thanks bro. Bo for this list of simple things to do to have a fantastic 2011. at last i am now an attendee of Feast near my place at Valenzuela. it’s an answered prayer kasi long time wish ko na maka attend ng Feast.
i have been an avid fan of your site, it brings me a new day, new perspective in life and a wonderful feeling, hope i can attend also the Feast, but i am miles away, i pray that you will always continue to strengthen others spiritually, motivate and inspire others in their journey here on earth. life is great, nothing to complain…happy new year to everyone! i like your books, there’s one time, i did not sleep the whole flight until i finished reading your books.
hi there! I’ve gone to one of your feast before but it was in valle verde. I also attended two years ago’s event in araneta. Anyway, I like this blog.I wish I can follow everything.I’m starting my life all over again and its not easy. I have a new job.I’m saving again.hopefully more for this year because I want to put my son to school next year. there’s been a lot of things that has happened in my life for the past five years ever since I got back from another country. this the second time that I’ve started my life all over again. long story though. anyway, I bought one of your books and I still keep it with me.I enjoyed your talks on television but your show is not aired anymore.I hope it comes back. I wanted to say thank you but for now I can’t because I cannot find any menthors who will teach the things that you are saying. actually I’ve never had a menthor in my life. I’m always ending with the wrong people and getting me into bad situations in my life. again long story. part of me wanted to thank for inspiring me evey sunday of your talk of abundance and hope and the like. I wish I had extra money to come to your feasts but I don’t. I’m just depending on your tv program.anyway, I’m not thinking straight while I’m writing this. but all in all I like this blog. thank you for inspiring everyone with your books and your talks.I hope you could give me an advice on life because honestly life hasn’t been very easy for me although I am thankful that my mom is there for me.if you email me. I will tell you my story but if not then thanks anyway……
I like this list.. but unfortunately my year didn’t started good, last dec.30 i had a conflict with my mother and we didn’t spoke to each other since then.. until now. i tried to start a conversation with her 2 days ago but she ignored me. She even showed me the worst.. She stopped cooking food for me in the morning which she regularly do, (because i have to leave home early for work and i need a packed lunch out of that food that she normally prepare). What makes it worst is that she prepares food for everyone - my sisters (before going to work and arriving from work) and my brother- in - law, except me. Makes me feel that i am not welcome to eat any meal that she prepare. She frequently asks everyone to eat except me. I knew i did something wrong to her but i believe deep within me that she did the worst to me (She is hurting me verbally like its part of her habit, and there’s a lot more.). I dont regret that i answered her back that time that she said something about me because i believe that i had to protect myself. And by the way, its the first time that i talked back at her after 2 or 3 years. To make it short, i have a painful experience with relationship with my mother which im trying to endure upto the present. Now, Im having difficult feeling with was she is showing to me. i wanted to fix everything between us but she is showing the opposite, and my question is : how can u forgive someone who is continuously hurting you? Im praying for positive things in my relationships but this one is really difficult to deal with. i hope those who care will pray for me. May we all have a very blessed and happy year.

Hi Bro Bo,
Thank you for this. I will keep it for life.
I hope one could email me the schedule for ‘The Feast’ in Cebu. I am really interested. I hope you have one here.
I’d been The Feast attendee (with family, wife 3 children) since January 2010. My sister and in-laws encouraged us to attend the Feast at Valle Verde after learning that my son (working now in a private co.) has converted to Christian (Church of God - Korean based). My sister feared that my son might influence / persuade his younger sister (now she’s 20 yrs old) to join him. Sad to say, last November, she decided to join my son. Of course there are lots of questions she raised so as to convince me that her decision is coming from her and not influenced by her bro. There were a lot of comparison raised between the Catholic practices (which according to her are not bible-based) and the Christian bible-based kind of worship. In other words, our family is separated on days of worship (Theirs is every Saturday) and the style of praying. Please give some enlightenment / your personal reflections on it. God bless us.
Natawa naman ako don sa wife and kids! haha Those were pretty simple yet frequently forgotten acts of kindness. Thanks sa reminder Bo!
like like like brod bo..i will going to print this one and post it in my room=D

Are You A Friend Of God?

Why God Invented Mothers
Last week, my mother died. Looking at her lifeless body in her simple white coffin, and remembering her permanent impact in my life, I realized that mothers are God’s greatest inventions.
