The first time I took a pilgrimage to Israel and Lourdes, I was only sixteen. (The story how I got there is fascinating. I won a Bible Quiz on TV that ran for 4 years, and the pilgrimage was the grand prize.)
The trip was such a life-changing experience, I told myself “I’ll go back. And when I do, I’ll bring others with me.”
It happened. Almost every year, for the past 30+ years, I’ve been leading groups into these beautiful happy “traveling retreats”.
